This is a picture I took of my cat, Binks, a few months ago for a newspaper writing assignment. I really like this photo because of the contrast between his gray fur and the colorful chair. I took this photo in my living room and its special to me because its of my cat. I chose this photo as one of my five favorites because it not only holds sentimental value to me but also is an interesting photograph. The only editing done is cropping the bottom of the picture so you cant see the floor because it distracted the composition.

This is a collage of a photo I took when I visited Washington DC. When editing the phot I brightened the photo and the colors in Lightroom. I then took the photo into photoshop and cut out parts to layer on top and added shadows for more depth. I like this photo because I think the layering produces a really cool effect and makes the photo interesting.

This photo is of a waterfall at Backbone state park. I took this on a family camping trip last year when me and my cousin hiked to it. I edited this photo in Lightroom by making it brighter and clearer as well as making the colors stand out more. I chose this photo as one of my 5 favorites because it holds good memories and is a beautiful picture.

This a picture of a flower I took whilst on a walk. I really like this photo because of the colors and the lighting make it interesting to look at. I also really like the composition and how clear it is. I haven't done any editing to this photo.
